PharmServ now has a PRN opportunity for a skilled Long-Term Care Pharmacist in the Lincoln, NE area, with coverage required in Spring. Our client is a leading long-term care facility dedicated to providing exceptional services to residents, ensuring their medication needs are met in a supportive and efficient manner. Required Qualifications: 

  • A Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) or Bachelors of Pharmacy (B.S Pharm) degree from a recognized institution. 
  • Active pharmacist license in Nebraska. 
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships with residents, families, and the healthcare team. 
  • Comfortable working in a long-term care environment and managing complex patient medication needs. 


Primary Responsibilities: 

  • Safely and accurately prepare and deliver medications to long-term care residents, ensuring they receive the right therapies. 
  • Regularly evaluate and adjust medication plans in accordance with patient needs, considering health changes and clinical guidelines. 
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other care professionals to ensure residents receive optimal medication management. 
  • Provide education to residents, caregivers, and staff on proper medication use, potential side effects, and necessary monitoring. 
  • Maintain complete and up-to-date medication profiles, ensuring compliance with regulations and internal policies. 


Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Experience in long-term care pharmacy or working with geriatric patients. 
  • Ability to manage complex medication regimens and multi-faceted patient care plans.

 

Compensation for this Position: 

  • Your base rate with PharmServ 
  • Mileage 
  • Drivetime 
  • Lodging and Per Diem if needed.
