PharmServ now has a Direct-Hire opportunity for a full-time position at a closed-door, Long-Term Care pharmacy, near Iowa City, IA. The client specializes in providing medication solutions to nursing homes and assisted living facilities.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately enter and process prescriptions into the pharmacy system.
• Ensure the correctness and appropriateness of all filled prescriptions.
• Supervise and support pharmacy technicians and staff during shifts.
• Prepare non-sterile compounds as required.
• Train and manage pharmacy staff to ensure efficiency and quality.
• Provide exceptional customer service and healthcare guidance.
• Communicate with patients, nurses, and physicians to resolve issues.
• Maintain and update patient profiles and prescription records.
• Ensure the pharmacy complies with all security, federal, and state regulations.
• Assist with technical and office tasks as needed.
• Monitor and enforce quality standards and security measures within the pharmacy.
• Handle and resolve patient and healthcare-related inquiries promptly.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of pharmacy practices and regulations.
• Manage inventory levels and assist with ordering and stocking medications.
• Ensure the pharmacy environment is clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety standards.

Required Qualifications:

• Licensure in good standing with the state of Iowa.
• Active BLS CPR certifications.
• Prior Pharmacy experience.
