We have a client near the Papillion, NE area who is looking for a registered pharmacist to join their team full-time.

 

This client is a community retail pharmacy committed to providing exceptional service, quality, and convenience. With multiple locations across Nebraska, they take pride in fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.

 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

·      Provide friendly, prompt, and helpful customer service, treating customers as top priority.

·      Greet and assist customers with a smile, helping them find products and addressing their needs.

·      Learn and use customers’ names whenever possible.

·      Assist customers by guiding them to products, reaching items, and helping with heavy loads.

·      Answer phone calls courteously and helpfully.

·      Help manage controlled substances and inventory.

·      Assist with inventory control, ordering, and stocking merchandise.

·      Support employee training and development.

·      Aid in ordering and displaying Over-the-Counter (OTC) products.

·      Verify and counsel patients on prescriptions.

·      Assist with managing third-party accounts and marketing services.

·      Help with monthly inventory and sales growth through wellness programs.

·      Follow security and regulatory procedures.

·      Manage the pharmacy department in the absence of the manager.

·      Maintain a professional appearance and communicate with the pharmacy manager regularly.

·      Adhere to company policies and schedules.

 

Secondary Duties and Responsibilities:

·      Collaborate with other departments to promote wellness and the pharmacy.

·      Assist in other areas of the store when needed.

·      Undertake other job-related duties and special projects as necessary.

 

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

·      Ability for logical problem-solving and arithmetic calculations.

·      Capability to compose correspondence, follow technical manuals, and interact with people.

·      Evaluation of technical data and advice to individuals.

Education and Experience:

·      College degree and pharmacy licensure required.

·      Continuing education for license maintenance.

·      Six months to a year of similar work experience preferred.

·      Medication Therapy Management (MTM) knowledge desirable.

·      Ability to administer immunizations is a plus.
