What are the current requirements for traveling pharmacists?
Answer: Depending on your specialty, requirements may vary, however a pharmacy license in good standing and solid employer references must be provided.
What is the typical duration of a travel assignment?
Answer: The majority of PharmServ assignments are will vary in duration. Occasionally, opportunities for shorter or longer assignments are available.
How long is my commitment for an assignment?
Answer: When accepting an assignment we ask that you commit to the length of that assignment. After the assignment is completed, you are under no obligation with that facility or with PharmServ.
How will PharmServ prepare me for my assignment?
Answer: We will send you an email with all the information you will need to begin your assignment, including accommodations.
Where can I go?
Answer: With PharmServ you have the flexibility to travel almost anywhere in the state of Iowa. We have positions in small towns and large cities.
What will my salary be?
Answer: Pay rates depend on your specialty and experience as well as the facility and the location.
When and how will I be paid?
Answer: PharmServ Staffing has a bi-weekly pay system. You’ll be paid every other Friday during your assignment and we’ll be glad to deposit your check directly for you.
How are my taxes handled?
Answer: As your employer, PharmServ withholds your taxes. At the end of the year, you'll receive a W-2. Contact us for more information.
What happens once my assignment is complete?
Answer: If the facility would like to extend your assignment, you can continue with them if you’d like. If you or the facility do not wish to extend your assignment, you may contact PharmServ or visit our website to sign up for a new assignment.
